WHAT’S CHRISTMAS ALL ABOUT THIS YEAR AT DOXA?
Everyone is searching for something: meaning, peace, identity, and hope that lasts. But the real story of Christmas is not about people finding God; it is about God stepping into our world to find us.
The stories of Christmas are evidence that the gospel is not just wishful thinking or blind faith—but rather is evidence of God keeping His promises in real time, through real people, in real history. God was already at work in their doubt, their waiting, their confusion, and their surrender, just as He is at work in ours.
Whether you are skeptical, searching, or simply weary, this Advent we will see that Jesus is not just someone to find, but the One who came to find us.
This Christmas, we remember that our faith does not begin with us. It is not human curiosity reaching up to heaven; but rather divine mercy that reaches down to us.
